Your website — and what your business needs from it
We start with your website, then look at what your business actually needs it to do. This isn't a surface scan — it's a diagnosis of where the site is helping or costing you.
Publicly accessible information only. We never touch your admin or database.
What does your business need most?
This shapes how we read your website — not just how it looks, but whether it's working for your goals.
How the audit works
A website score is not a business decision.
Evidence should lead to a decision you can defend. The audit starts with the business, separates what you supplied from what the public website can support, and stays proportionate to the confidence behind each finding.
Supplied context
- Business goals
- Commercial model
- Priority customer journey
Public evidence
- Visible pages and messages
- Technical and journey signals
- Observed strengths and friction
A defensible decision
Where context and evidence differ, the report raises the right validation question instead of guessing. Inputs stay distinct. Evidence stays labelled.
The visual system, as a system
Consistency, contrast, legibility and hierarchy, and whether the system stays coherent across pages and mobile states.
Search and answer-system foundations
Titles, headings, indexing, canonicals, internal links, structured data and whether answer engines can tell what the business is.
The buyer's path, not just the homepage
Arrive, understand, act, recover. What a visitor sees, needs to believe, and is asked to do next.
The operating layer behind the website
Public signals that may indicate an enquiry, admin or follow-up problem, converted into qualified questions before any recommendation.
The conversion journey we follow
Offer and audience clarity
Information, objections and proof
CTA hierarchy, forms and mobile flow
Acknowledgement, routing and tracking signals
From finding to a proportionate action.
Every recommendation is matched to the evidence, the confidence and the business need. Sometimes the correct answer is to change nothing.
Correct canonical URLs across all indexable templates.
Illustrative example. Distinct pages state the homepage as their canonical version, weakening an otherwise strong crawl and content architecture. Expected effect: clearer indexing and page-level eligibility. No ranking or traffic outcome is guaranteed.
Do internally
Approve a clean canonical URL inventory and identify intentional duplicates, if any.
Give to your developer
Make each indexable route output a self-referencing absolute canonical, then regression-test every route template.
Ask Baraka Hall
We can make the scoped correction and deliver a validation list, or hand the checklist to your existing supplier.
Example content shown to demonstrate report structure. Real findings depend on the website, selected scope and available public evidence.
Scope of the audit
What the audit reviews, and what it does not touch.
The paid audit is an automated, evidence-led diagnostic. It is transparent about what it covers and what it deliberately leaves alone.
Publicly accessible only
The standard audit reviews information reachable from a browser without login.
No private systems accessed
Admin panels, source code, databases, and internal systems are not accessed as part of the standard audit.
Your instructions focus the paid checks
Additional instructions guide the modules you have purchased. They do not automatically add unpaid modules.
Consent required
You confirm ownership or permission for the primary website. Competitor analysis is limited to public information.
Example report
What arrives after the audit is prepared.
An automated, evidence-led report. Structured, honest, and specific to your website and the tier you selected.
Website health · module average
Scores summarise the defined rubric criteria assessed. They are not certification, total-site coverage, or a performance guarantee. Values shown here are illustrative.
Inside the Build Your Audit
- Selected-scope score. Weighted across the modules you chose, with criteria coverage stated.
- Business understanding. The business we investigated, in its own commercial terms.
- Customer context. What you told us, compared with what the public website can support.
- Protect the value. What is already working and should remain unchanged.
- Priority findings. What deserves attention first, with supporting evidence.
- Priority roadmap. A proportionate sequence rather than an undifferentiated issue list.
- Implementation summary. What a proportionate next step looks like, and who could do it.
Depth follows the modules you select. The core website diagnosis is always included.
See a sample reportWhat does the base audit cover?
The base audit reviews your homepage, produces an overall score across the scope you selected, and returns your main strengths, main weaknesses, three priority recommendations, and a short Baraka Hall improvement summary.
What is the difference between Build Your Audit, Complete Audit and Executive Audit?
Build Your Audit lets you pay only for the modules you want investigated in depth. Complete Audit is a fixed-price package covering every module across your key public pages, with a competitor comparison or General Industry Benchmark and a full priority improvement roadmap. Executive Audit goes deeper: expanded technical and accessibility validation, up to two competitor URLs, deeper Business Systems Opportunity analysis and implementation-ready recommendations.
What happens if I do not provide a competitor URL?
The audit uses a General Industry Benchmark honestly drawn from patterns typical of your business type. It is not live competitor research and it is clearly labelled in the report.
Is the audit written by AI or a human consultant?
The paid website audit runs on a purpose-built Baraka Hall audit system. It is not a person typing, and it is not a generic chatbot answering a prompt. It applies our own diagnostic checklists to your site, scores each module you paid for against them, and cites the specific pages and elements behind every finding. That is what makes it fast and consistent. Every report is held to the same standard, in the same order, with nothing skipped. The self-serve audits, Build, Complete and Executive, are automated and do not include human review by default. Executive is not a human audit. A separate human consultant diagnostic starts from £99 and is scoped after the read.
How long does an audit take?
It depends which one you buy.The private website audit runs on our own audit system, which applies the Baraka Hall diagnostic checklists to your site and returns a scored PDF. Audits typically complete in 5 to 25 minutes. Your private status page shows progress. This is a typical range, not a service level agreement.A business or systems audit is scoped work. One to three days once the scope is clear.A deep audit takes one to two weeks. That is the one that looks at where AI implementation actually fits, where the business is losing time, and what a transformation would involve. For the scoped work, the pace is set by access and answers rather than by our queue. Logins, numbers and quick replies are what move it.
Do you access my admin panel or database?
No. The standard audit reviews publicly accessible information only. Private admin panels, source code, databases, and internal systems are not accessed.
Can I upgrade the audit later?
Yes. You can add further modules, move from Build Your Audit to Complete or Executive Audit, or continue into a full diagnostic engagement afterwards. The audit fee may be credited toward a subsequent build or improvement package where agreed in writing.
